Kyle Was Found!

Kyle was found about 20 mins ago in the Lesiure World community--he never left!!

We're not sure where he has been hiding all week, but the adopters got a call from a neighbor that he was spotted about a mile from their house.

By the time the adopters got over there, he was already gone.

But then they got a call from another neighbor that he was seen about a block from their house.

The neighbor chased him into a bush and stood guard until the adopter could get there!! The adopters said he was so happy to see them!!

He is going to the vet first thing in the am to make sure everything is okay, but he seemed fine--just hungry!!

Friday Update

Earlier in the week, the adopters spoke with Sam of Pure Gold Pet Trackers about coming out to trail Kyle's scent. Sam was concerned that the tracking activity would scare him (he's very frightened anyway), and since Leisure World is such a great community for a dog to be lost in -- if he's going to be lost -- she felt it was best to hold off on a track.

They spoke to Sam this morning, and she feels that because there is supposed to be a large thunderstorm late this afternoon/early this evening, it will be our best chance to scare Kyle out of hiding.

Running a track if he isn't found is under consideration, but with the amount of time now since the last sighting, it might be a better idea to wait until there is a sighting to run a track.

Thursday Update

With Leisure World now being so well informed about Kyle, his adopters have continued to widen their search in the neighborhoods surrounding Leisure World in case he has gotten out. We are still hopeful that he is withing the confines of the Leisure World community, but no one wants to take any chances.

We hate to think of Kyle being hungry, but we are hopeful that his hunger will help us find him. A few feeding stations have been placed around Leisure World, and outside it too, and they are being checked daily. So far, it doesn't look like he's eating from them, but maybe tomorrow will bring better news.

Wednesday Update

Kyle is a lucky dog not only because he is a Lucky Dog, but also because his adopters are devoted to finding him despite what a short time he was in their home before he was lost. And even better, they have a good number of friends and neighbors helping out. They feel that all of the Leisure World Community is now aware of Kyle, with all the efforts through today, and this includes security. They are watching closely, and they know what to do if they see him.

If you see Kyle, remember that he is unlikely to come to you, and much more likely, he will run from you. The best thing you can do is snap a photo of him with your camera phone and report the sighting -- as soon as possible!
